District staff participated in a free, voluntary health screening sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The screening involved answering some lifestyle questions, and blood pressure and cholesterol checks. Health professionals were on hand to go over individual results, and information concerning a variety of health topics was available. Employees who completed the screenings were offered an optional five-minute chair massage.
