Statement of Accessibility

Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) is committed to providing a website accessible to the public, regardless of disability. In order to further this commitment, SWFWMD staff contracted with an independent third-party (Promet Source) for an accessibility audit and review based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA.

On June 30, 2018, Promet Source concluded its review of SWFWMD’S website, consisting of the following pages located at the attached URLs:

Additionally, on June 30, 2018, Promet Source provided a comprehensive list of accessibility issues and warnings.

SWFWMD is actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of its website. In furtherance of SWFWMD’S commitment to website accessibility, we are working toward achieving conformance with level Double-A World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. Such guidelines detail voluntary best practices for ensuring assistive technology users can access the website. The guidelines also make the website more user friendly for all people.
