Stephanie Ishii, PE, is the Director of Integrated Resource Technologies at Hazen and Sawyer. She focuses on treatment, effluent management, and water supply strategies that acknowledge the market potential of resource recovery, implications of regulatory shifts, and the importance of interdependencies between different supply types and sectors.
Her experience with systems modeling, advanced treatment demonstration systems, and water reuse regulations ensures the development of comprehensive, adaptable long-term water and wastewater plans for municipalities.
Ishii earned her doctorate in environmental engineering from the University of Florida, where she focused on the life-cycle impacts of resource recovery and contaminant removal from source-separated waste streams. She is also a professional engineer and Envision Sustainability Professional.
Ishii is a member of the American Water Works Association and WateReuse Florida.
