Ryan Popko, PE

Ryan Popko, PE, has more than 20 years of experience with a primary focus on water quality and treatment. He leads JEA’s H2.0 Purification Program.

Popko is a recognized expert in water purification and has been published in or presented at more than 100 industry journals and conferences. 

Popko has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.

Popko serves in leadership roles in a number of professional organizations including the board of directors of the Southeast Desalting Association, board member of the American Membrane Technology Association, and board of trustees of WateReuse Florida.
