With more than 48 years of experience in many facets of the utility industry, Randy Brown has worked for municipalities, operations and maintenance firms, private water companies and as an elected official.
For the last 21 years Brown has been with the City of Pompano Beach as the Utilities Director. After his retirement in June 2025, he started his own consulting firm Eagle Utility Management.
Brown earned a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. He is a Double “A” licensed operator in water and wastewater. Brown also earned his Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Florida Atlantic University.
Currently, he serves as Florida Water Environment Association Director at Large, trustee withWateReuse Florida, National American Water Works Association Reuse Committee and member of the Broward County Water Technical Committee for the Water Advisory Board.
