Pranjali Kumar, PE, is an Associate Vice President and Southeast Reuse Lead with Carollo Engineers, based in Orlando, Florida. Her work focuses on advanced water reuse and potable reuse systems, supporting utilities through feasibility evaluation, regulatory framework development, process selection, and detailed design of advanced treatment trains.
Kumar has experience applying membrane- and carbon-based treatment approaches, as well as emerging technologies, to address source water variability, nutrient constraints, and emerging contaminants such as PFAS. She works closely with Florida utilities to navigate permitting pathways and implement resilient alternative water supply strategies, aligning treatment design with consumptive use permitting and regulatory requirements.
Kumar is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, and serves on the board of trustees for WateReuse Florida, and on the leadership team of the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) Water Reuse Community. She was recognized with the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) One Water Professional Award in 2025 for her contributions to advancing integrated water management and reuse in Florida.
