Lynn Spivey is the Director of Utilities for the City of Plant City, Florida, with more than 32 years of experience in the treatment and management of water, wastewater, and reuse systems.
Spivey holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida and has worked in the public and private sectors.
Spivey is a past president of WateReuse Florida (2019, 2020), served as the Florida Potable Reuse Commission Chair (PRC), and was a past Florida Water Environment Association Director at Large. As chair of the Florida PRC, Spivey oversaw the efforts to publish The Framework for the Implementation of Potable Reuse in Florida, which WateReuse published in January 2020.
Spivey serves on the board of directors of the national WateReuse Association.
