With more than 20 years of experience, Amanda Schwerman, PE, is a recognized leader in integrated water resources planning, delivering innovative, data-driven solutions for water, wastewater, and reuse systems. Based in Tampa, Florida, she has led the development of more than 100 master plans and planning studies, supporting utilities across Florida and beyond in making informed, resilient infrastructure decisions. Her expertise spans hydraulic modeling, asset management, adaptive capital improvement planning, and condition assessment—helping utilities align operational performance with regulatory requirements and community priorities.
Schwerman is an active leader in the water industry, dedicated to advancing best practices through her long-standing involvement in key professional organizations, including more than 12 years with WateReuse Florida. She is a strong advocate of the One Water philosophy and values the collaborative, service-driven culture that defines the WateReuse community.
Schwerman holds a master’s degree in environmental science and engineering and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.
