City of Webster stormwater plan to receive state funding
Senator Paula Dockery will be in the City of Webster Thursday to present a $500,000 check to city officials for the city’s stormwater plan.The presentation will be held at 3 p.m. at Webster City Hall, east of S.R. 471.

Peace River to be treated for Water Hyacinths and Water Lettuce
The Southwest Florida Water Management District will be treating water hyacinths and water lettuce on portions of the Peace River August 29-Sept. 1. The treatment area is located between State Road 17 and County Road 640 in Polk County.
