The District adopts land management plans for each property to ensure they are managed in ways that are consistent with Florida Statutes and the District’s mission. Each plan includes a management strategy of the property for the next 10 years.

Virtual Public Meetings

The District is holding two virtual public meetings to discuss the District’s land management plans being updated in 2024. At each meeting, District staff will give a presentation covering the land management plan and proposed updates. The public will have an opportunity to give comments about the proposed plan. Public comments and suggestions will be considered by staff when finalizing land management plans and will be provided to the District's Governing Board before they vote to adopt the plans.
