Nature-friendly outdoor recreation in Florida offers an easy and enjoyable experience while ensuring the land is protected. These activities include birding, boating, picnicking, canoeing, hiking, fishing, inline skating, bicycling, hunting, camping and equestrian pursuits. Dogs on a leash are allowed on some lands in designated areas, and some of our lands are handicap accessible. In keeping with the purpose for which these lands were acquired, your experience will be close to nature. This means mostly unpaved roads, portable restrooms and nature's beauty all around you.
