The District is initiating an update to its Land Use Rules under Chapter 40 D-9 of the Florida Administrative Code. These rules govern the activities that occur on District lands. The rules are periodically reviewed and edits are proposed to provide for consistency with existing laws and rules. The proposed edits also are intended to improve the recreational experience on District lands, ensure appropriate use of the District’s resources, and ensure protection of water resources and related natural systems.
