The Southwest Florida Water Management District is seeking public input as it updates its long-range Water Management Plan.

For the second year in a row, Lee Wetherington Homes took home the Water-Wise Landscape Recognition Awards for Sarasota County at the annual Home Builders Association Parade of Homes banquet. This year Lee Wetherington Homes also took home the award for Manatee County.

The Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Hampton Tract will be closed to the public March 24-26. The District is limiting access to the property to prepare for an event that allows disabled hunters the opportunity to experience the outdoors.

The Southwest Florida Water Management District has contracted with Team Spirit, Inc. to help coordinate the District’s Water Conservation Hotel and Motel Program (Water C.H.A.M.P.) in Citrus and Hernando counties.
