As a result of impacts from Hurricane Jeanne, the District is shortening the agenda for the Tuesday Governing Board meeting scheduled for the Bartow Service Office.
The meeting Tuesday will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will include only necessary timed items such as financial encumbrances, Fiscal Year 2005 budget, regulatory and enforcement issues.
“There are some items that have to be acted on Tuesday, but others can be postponed to the October Governing Board meeting,” said Executive Director David L. Moore. “We want to minimize the number of people that have to be on the road. We also understand that many folks who may be interested in some agenda items are busy repairing their homes and businesses as a result of the hurricane.”
