Current or potential District vendors can now join DemandStar for free. DemandStar is a procurement software that easily connects governments and suppliers. Vendors not registered in DemandStar are highly encouraged to register now.
All District bid solicitations will be posted to DemandStar, and all bid submissions will be accepted and awarded through DemandStar only. Pre-bid meetings also will be advertised through DemandStar.
Vendors registered in DemandStar will receive automatic email notifications for District solicitations matching your goods or services, and you can submit bids or proposals electronically in DemandStar. No more printing of hard copies and dropping off in person or paying a third-party carrier for delivery will be required.
The District uses the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc. (NIGP) Commodity/Services Codes. Vendors will need to select from these codes in your DemandStar registration to ensure you receive notifications matching your goods and services.
