How to watch and participate in the FY2022 Cooperative Funding Initiative Workshop

Following the Governor’s directions to reduce public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, in-person attendance will be limited. With the exception of the Governing Board chair, all other Board members will be participating remotely. Only staff that are necessary for the meeting are attending in person at the Brooksville Headquarters, and all cooperators and members of the public will participate remotely.

Fiscal Year 2022 Cooperative Funding Initiative Application Training

The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) will be accepting applications for fiscal year 2022 funding by the District’s Governing Board. District staff will host a virtual training for the new application portal on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

At the workshop, District staff will provide a tutorial of how to register, enter application information, review and submit a Cooperative Funding Initiative (CFI) Application. Visit WaterMatters.org/CFI or the link below to participate in the webinar. For those unable to view the livestream, a video recording will be posted to the website following the meeting.

To view the Cooperative Funding Initiative training, we recommend you use Microsoft Teams (URL link https://bit.ly/3gTM9Yc chose the web option and the Chrome browser is recommended). Make sure to mute your microphone unless called on by the meeting host. An emergency backup telephone number is available to listen to the meeting (1-888-585-9008, then enter conference room number 346-054-201).

The meeting agenda and meeting materials are posted one week before the meeting and can be found at WaterMatters.org by clicking on the “Go to District Calendar” link.
