Most hiking properties also have other recreational activities such as fishing, boating and bird watching. Trails are primarily multiuse and are also open for horseback riding and bicycling. Some lands have single-track, hiking-only trails or paved trails that provide unique hiking experiences. Check the individual property descriptions for specific details.

Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve, just east of Dade City, is one example of a District property with multiple recreational options.

Also, check out our pin with information on georeferenced trail maps. These are helpful to download before trekking on your next adventure that may take you away from cellular service. Or, use our new interactive map that allows you to search, zoom and discover additional information about all our recreation areas before you leave.

Want to get a preview of the property before you head out? Check out the Virtual Visits Videos pin before you go. It will take you to a playlist of more than 70 videos.
