Brooker Creek Watershed "Targeted" During Watershed Wonders Week
The Southwest Florida Water Management District is inviting the public to come out for a special event focusing on the Brooker Creek watershed on Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Target in the Shoppes at Boot Ranch. The event takes place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Controlled Burns Scheduled for Weekiwachee Preserve
The Southwest Florida Water Management District will be conducting “controlled, prescribed burns” during October and November on the District’s Weekiwachee Preserve. The property is approximately 1 mile west of Spring Hill.
