The District is holding a free family-friendly event at the "Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve's(Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve)":http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/areas/greenswamp.html "Hampton Tract(Hampton Tract)":http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/areas/greenswamp-hampton_tract… in northwestern Polk County. The 11,052-acre tract features recreational opportunities such as hiking, bicycling, camping, fishing, picnicking and equestrian use.

The event includes activities such as guided nature hikes, children's activities, scavenger hunts, a native plant raffle and more.

The District is inviting the community to ""Get Outside!"(Get outside and explore more than 50 recreation sites on conservation lands)":http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation and get to know the property so they can return with their friends and family.
