Volunteers who take part in the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Land Resources Volunteer Program are a valuable resource. Seven springs restoration projects in Citrus and Hernando Counties will receive $12 million in state funding from Legacy Florida through the department’s Division of Water Restoration Assistance program.
