Project WET Educator Workshops

The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) is a Project WET Coordinator for west-central Florida. As a Coordinator, the District supports local workshops that bring Project WET’s renowned curriculum to formal and informal educators in a hands-on, interactive way!

Project WET workshops are conducted by trained facilitators and are built around one or more educator guides. Each educator guide includes investigative and easy-to-use activities that cover a variety of water literacy principles. The District currently coordinates workshops for the following educator guides:

  • Foundations of Water Education
  • Water in Earth Systems
