Ed Armstrong of Dunedin is an attorney with Hill Ward Henderson in Clearwater.

Armstrong was appointed to the Governing Board in June 2014, and was reappointed in October 2020 and June 2022. His term ends March 1, 2026.

A lifelong Florida resident, Armstrong graduated from Dunedin High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland and a Juris doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville, Tennessee.

Armstrong has been a shareholder with Hill Ward Henderson based in Clearwater and Tampa since 2013. Armstrong is a member of the American Bar Association and The Florida Bar Association, as well as the Clearwater Bar and Hillsborough County Bar associations.

Armstrong has extensive experience representing private sector development clients. Armstrong previously served two terms on the Pinellas County Charter Review Commission and is a former board chairman of the Greater Clearwater Chamber of Commerce. He is also a former trustee for the BayCare Health System, Tampa Preparatory School and Pasco-Hernando Community College as well as a former board chairman of the Morton Plant Mease Healthcare System.

Armstrong believes that his experience on other boards and significant community involvement enhances his ability to serve the residents of the District as a member of the Governing Board.

Armstrong represents Pinellas County.
