Southern Pasco County Residents Invited to Public Meeting on Stormwater Flooding

The "Southwest Florida Water Management District(Southwest Florida Water Management District)":/ and Pasco County are gathering input needed to address stormwater flooding in several subdivisions in the Cypress Creek watershed in southern Pasco County.

The District and the county are in the initial stages of planning projects to help improve water quality and flood protection in the following areas:

* Angus Valley
* Circle Eight Acres
* The Enclave
* Fox Run
* Foxwood
* Lake Padgett East
* Quail Hollow
* Quail Run Estates

An open house for residents living in these areas will be held *Tuesday, Jan. 24*, beginning at *6 p.m.* at *Quail Hollow Elementary School*. The school is located at 7050 Quail Hollow Boulevard in Wesley Chapel. District and county representatives will be available to meet with residents anytime between 6 and 8 p.m.

District and county representatives will brief residents on stormwater management issues in these neighborhoods and on conceptual plans for projects to address these issues. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions during the meeting.
