"Get Outside!" at Potts Preserve in Citrus County

Citrus County residents are invited to attend the "Southwest Florida Water Management District's(Southwest Florida Water Management District)":/ "Get Outside!" event at "Potts Preserve(Potts Preserve)":/recreation/areas/potts.html on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free event includes guided nature hikes, a native animal presentation, an archery adventure for all ages, children's activities, waterless fishing and more. Scenic boat tours of the Withlacoochee River will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 9,300-acre Potts Preserve is in northeastern Citrus County, north of Inverness, off North Hooty Point Road near the end of Turner Camp Road.

The District is inviting members of the community to "Get Outside!" and get to know the property so they can come back with their friends and family.
