Cindy Rodriguez has joined the Southwest Florida Water Management District as a Senior Government Affairs Program Manager.
Rodriguez will serve as a liaison between the District and the constituents of Hardee, Highlands and Polk counties. She will work closely with county governments, municipalities and utilities staff.
Rodriguez is a sixth-generation Polk County native and has more than 20 years of government and public relations experience.
Prior to joining the District, Rodriguez was the Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs Director for A-C-T Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. in Bartow. Previously, Rodriguez served as the Communications and Legislative Affairs Director at Polk County Board of County Commissioners.
