Sandie Will

As Data Collection bureau chief, Sandie Will is responsible for overseeing the Geohydrologic DataHydrologic Data; the Water Quality Monitoring Programand Mapping/GIS sections. Activities conducted in these sections include coring; well construction; aquifer performance testing; water level and atmospheric data collection; groundwater and surface water quality sampling; land surveying; laboratory analyses; geospatial data acquisition; LiDAR and geospatial analyses; and resource data and enterprise geospatial database management.

Previously, Will was the manager of the Geohydrologic Data Section for six years, and a professional geologist with the Resource Evaluation Section for four years. Prior to joining the District, Will was a project manager at environmental consulting firms for 10 years, specializing in contamination assessments, construction wells, various sampling methods, Phase I & II site assessments, and wellfield analyses and reporting. 

Will earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Florida in Environmental Engineering Sciences with a specialization in water resource planning and management. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Geology. She is currently a licensed professional geologist in Florida.
