Citrus County Chronicle reporter Abdon Sidibe recently spent time with our springs expert Chris Anastasiou, senior scientist of Natural Systems and Restoration, on a boat tour of Crystal River, King’s Bay and Hunter’s Cove. During the three hour tour, Anastasiou discussed the state of our springs, what the District is doing to restore these water bodies, and pointed out the District’s current and future project sites.
