Section C
Population Projections — Utility and Parcel Layers

Each year the District generates population projections for the 16 counties wholly or partially under its jurisdiction.

On this page:

Section C-1 GIS model population projections by county, utility and public supply service area
Section C-2 GIS model parcel-level population projections
Section C-2 GIS population projection model documentation

Instructions

The utility and parcel layer projections include those population cohorts included in BEBR and Census estimates plus adjustments for seasonal population, tourists and net commuter populations. The most recent projections and technical documentation are addressed below.

These projections are based on the April 1, 2010 BEBR estimates through 2040 projections published in 2011 and available updates to local government Future Land Use Maps (FLUMs) collected in 2011. These projections are meant to be used for the basis of projections in water supply planning and water use permitting and to gather additional stakeholder input. They may be further refined, as appropriate, based on such input.
