Following a comprehensive water use evaluation, a St. Petersburg, Florida manufacturer was given the following recommendations for water conservation:
Bathroom retrofits
- replacing toilets with new 1.6 gallon per flush models
- retrofitting urinals with low-volume valves
- installing lavatory aerators that allow a flow of 2.0 gallons per minute
