C. A. “Neil” Combee
C. A. “Neil” Combee of Lakeland is a realtor for Century Companies of Lakeland.
Combee was first appointed to the Governing Board in April 2005 and has served as Governing Board secretary, vice-chair and chair. His current term ends March 3, 2013.
A Polk County native, Combee continues to work on his family’s farm and ranch as he has done all his life. He graduated from Lakeland High School, and attended Polk Community College and Florida State University. He has a Florida Real Estate license.
Elected to the Polk County Board of County Commissioners in November 1988, Combee held that position until November 2004. During his tenure as a commissioner, he served as the Board’s liaison with the District. In the early 1990s, he also served on the District’s Southern Water Use Caution Area Work Group.
Combee serves on the board of the Polk County Taxpayers League. His community service includes volunteering with athletes at Lake Gibson High School. He is president of the Lake Gibson High Boosters Club.
